Maxime Yao (Max) is the Founder of the Self-Empowerment Institute, a leadership training and coaching firm dedicated to helping high performing professionals and entrepreneurs across the world become the free captain of their lives and grow their career, their business, their relationships and their finances.
Max is an experienced CFO and Business Leader with a unique career that began 22 years ago with PricewaterhouseCoopers and grew consistently through various Finance roles with increasing level of responsibility within leading companies including General Electric, Honeywell, United Technologies and Otis. He worked and lived in the Ivory Coast, France, Switzerland and the UK, and traveled across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America. Max is passionate about leadership and high performance; He is currently working on a book project to share the lessons that he has learned about how to make better decisions despite internal and external pressures. He is a powerful motivational speaker and and active supporter of children charities in the UK and in the Ivory Coast.
Max and his wife Edwige are the proud parents of one daughter and two sons and currently live in London, England.
